Dr Ravasio received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. He had served as an orthopaedic surgeon and assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and is now presently employed by Washington Health System. He also was a Major in the US Army Medical Corps where he received several commendations including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, The Army Commendation Medal of Military Merit, and the Estonia Distinguished Service Cross for exemplary care provided to their soldiers during the war in Iraq.

He holds professional memberships with the American Osteopathic Association, The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Washington County Medical Society. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.
